Secretary of State Marco Rubio decided Tuesday that he is dissolving the office responsible for overseeing U.S. relations with the Palestinians, and will integrate it into the American embassy in Yerushalayim, according to a statement made Tuesday by State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce.
Bruce informed reporters that the U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs will begin reporting directly to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. She added that the office will be combined with other divisions of the primary embassy in Israel over the next few weeks.
