London’s Metropolitan Police announced that 47 additional individuals have been charged for their involvement in backing Palestine Action, raising the total number of people accused of supporting the outlawed terrorist group to 114.

According to police, those charged range in age from 18 to 81 and are scheduled to appear in court on October 27 and 28. If convicted, they could each face up to six months in prison.

The UK designated Palestine Action as a terrorist organization in July after two aircraft were vandalized at a Royal Air Force base, causing approximately £7 million ($9.3 million) in damages.

Since the group was banned under the Terrorism Act 2000, more than 700 people, most of them at protests, have been taken into custody, with 114 facing formal charges.

Interior Minister Yvette Cooper stated that the group has a “long history of unacceptable criminal damage.”
