Iranian Jews Say IAF Hit Their Homes

Iran’s Chief Rabbi and Jewish community rpresentatives echoed the Islamic Republic’s claims about the recent Israeli and US attack on the country’s nuclear facilities, according to Israeli media outlets.

Dr. Homayun Shameh, the Jewish representative in the Iranian parliament, claimed yesterday at a special gathering of the Jewish community in support of the regime, that Israeli air force attacks in Iran have damaged a large number of homes of the Jewish community.

The airstrikes were, in reality, nowhere near the Jewish neighborhood, located 30 minutes away in a different part of Isfahan.

The Chief Rabbi of Iran, Rabbi Yehuda Garami, also spoke yesterday about the war at the event. The rabbi referred to the fact that Jews have lived in Iran for many years under the regime without problems.

Chacham Younes Hamami, one of the leaders of the Jewish community, stated that the Jewish community supports the regime and repeated a narrative from Iranian leaders that it was the US, and not Iran, which capitulated.

“Iran’s attacks were so decisive and destructive that even America itself had no choice but to surrender shortly after we attacked the American base in the region,” he said, referring to a strike on US bases in Iraq and Qatar, which were staged in collaboration with the US and caused virtually no damage.
