The US Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, declined President-elect Donald Trump’s bid to delay his sentencing in his New York hush money case, now clearing the way for him to face judgment tomorrow’s case.
Four justices, including Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh, expressed support for granting Trump’s request to delay his sentencing, but the Supreme Court ultimately ruled against it
John Roberts and Trump appointee Amy Coney Barrett sided with the liberal judges on the court.
