New York Knicks center, NBA star and champ Karl-Anthony Towns, joined a special evening Monday night at Reserve Cut in Manhattan in support of Chazaq, the organization dedicated to giving every Jewish child the opportunity to receive a Torah education.


Towns addressed the crowd with warmth, telling attendees it was “an honor to be able to play for y’all.”

The dinner featured a siyum, along with divrei chizuk and divrei Torah offered by several speakers throughout the evening.


Victoria Zirkiev, President of Chazaq’s Women’s Division, told Belaaz in a statement: “This was A special evening which featured Karl-Anthony Towns of the NY Knicks in support of Chazaq and its incredible work.”

“The dinner had a special siyum with many speakers offering words of Chizuk and Torah”, Mrs. Zirkiev added.


Chazaq’s work spans after-school programs, community outreach, and efforts to help families transition their children from public school into yeshiva. Through these initiatives, the organization continues to strengthen Jewish identity and build a stronger future for the next generation of Yiddishe Children.
