As part of her official visit to Israel, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem visited the Western this evening (Sunday) and offered heartfelt prayers. She was accompanied by U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, and his wife, Mrs. Janet Huckabee.
During the visit, Secretary Noem and the Rabbi of the Kotel recited a chapter of Tehilim and a special memorial prayer in memory of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgram HY”D — the two Israeli Embassy staffers murdered in last week’s terror attack in Washington, D.C. A dedicated prayer was also recited for the swift and safe return of all the hostages still held in captivity.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Secretary placed a personal note in the stones of the Wall and signed the official Guest Book, writing: “Israel God’s chosen people, we stand with you!”
