A stash of weapons was found in U.N. aid packages destined for Gaza, according to media reports Thursday.

The IDF found the weapons, intended for Hamas terrorists, in aid packages from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

It wasn’t the first time there was such a discovery in UNRWA aid supplies. Last November, the IDF discovered a bag of ammunition for firearms in an aid convoy destined for Gaza.

According to some reports, of the 12,521 employees of the UNRWA, 1,412, or 12 percent, are members of Hamas or other terrorist groups.

Earlier this month, newly installed Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee countered those who said he should urge Israel to allow aid into Gaza. He said that instead, Hamas should be pressured to stop intercepting the aid and smuggling in weapons.
