Yair Netanyahu Appointed to Likud Central Committee

Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a Miami resident, has been elected to the Likud Central Committee as a representative of the Ma’ale Yosef branch in the northern Israeli border area.
He joined without elections, through allocations by Member of Knesset Sasson Guetta, via internal agreements at the recent Likud conference.
While he previously stated no intention to run for Knesset, his recent moves (including a blocked attempt at a senior Zionist Organization role) have sparked questions in Likud about whether he plans to pursue significant public or political positions in the future.
