Just minutes after Donald Trump was declared the 47th president, Israel rushed to extend congratulations on his decisive win, expressing hope for continued partnership to strengthen Israel-U.S. relations.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was among the first world leaders to congratulate Trump. In a tweet on X, he wrote: “Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback”.

The Prime Minister added, “Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America. This is a huge victory!”
